Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Wash mushrooms& remove stems.
  2. Brush caps with melted butter& place upside-down in a buttered baking dish.
  3. Chop stems and set aside.
  4. Drain crabmeat, remove any undesirable elements.
  5. Flake crabmeat so it goes a long way.
  6. In a saucepan, melt 1 T.
  7. of butter.
  8. Add garlic, shallots& mushroom stems.
  9. Heat until shallots turn transparent.
  10. Leave shallots& mushrooms in the saucepan and Prepare Stovetop stuffing mix according to the directions& add water chestnuts.
  11. When stuffing is done, add crabmeat.
  12. Mix well.
  13. Top mushrooms with crabmeat mixture.
  14. Sprinkle mushrooms with parmesan cheese and drizzle melted butter onto each.
  15. Bake in a 375° oven for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and has turned golden.
  16. Crab Mixture can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.
