This looks like an excellent, delicious recipe, but I just wanted to make note of the fact that it is not TRULY "eggless". As a mother of a egg allergy child, I know that your common store bought italian dressing (Wishbone for example) still has egg yolks in it. However, I'm sure most people aren't aware of that. So, I just wanted to make sure to alert people who might be cooking this recipe for someone who can not eat eggs. It looks like a great, easy recipe, though!

Well, I loved the ease of this, and the taste....well, wonderful! It was a busy day on the farm. I didn't realize till to late that I hadn't even thought about dinner! Dennis was coming home in about 2 hours, and I knew I could go to the house, swiftly put this together ~ put into to oven, and just maybe, just maybe, dinner would be ready with very little effort on my part. This is the meatloaf to do it. I put this together lickity-split, and used some minced onion, (keep this in the icebox ready to go) and some garlic, also minced. Salt, pepper, and Italian dressing, flakes, mush together, done! A field goal that was worth 50 yards! Woo hoo! A winner on the Longmeadow. Thanks, Saralaya!

This was easy and very good texture and soft. And it held together without egg which I am very very happy about. Thanks for the idea!! I used a small amount of Italian sausage and then the rest was beef. I used bread instead of potato flakes and added a little potato flour/starch. The dressing I used was Creamy vidalia Onion. Added salt and pepper to the mixer Then ketchup to the top. Just a note** do NOT use Italian sausage no matter how little you have. LOL... I had to smother it in ketchup because of the strong flavour... my fault on that part.

This was incredibly easy! I always have potato flakes in the house to thicken soups and gravies. I used one pound of ground turkey and one pound of ground beef, because that's what I had in the house. I actually tasted the meat before baking and decided it needed a bit more flavor so I added freshly ground black pepper and Hungarian paprika. Thanks for this recipe, it's so quick and easy I'm going to make it often!
