  1. Quick 'n easy is right! I prefer low sodium sauces, so the ease of being able to make a quick one that I can control the salt in is ideal! I used no salt added petite diced tomatoes and omitted the salt. Loved the flavor produced by the simple combo. Thanks for sharing!

  2. This was all right but I felt it needed a bit more spice or flavor.

  3. This is a very nice pasta sauce with a lovely, light flavor. I had all of the ingredients on hand so it was simple and quick to put this togther. Rather than pasta I used it in Recipe#197203. Perfect combination! I'll will definitely make this again. Thanks rochsann!

  4. Very good recipe when you need something fast.

  5. A really nice tasting pasta sauce that is so easy to make. There isnt that overwheming "tomato" taste and the herbs work well in the sauce. I doubled the recipe and only pureed one can of tomatoes, added 3 cloves of garlic and just a touch of celery seed. This is not a thick heavy sauce and we enjoyed it over a bowl of linquine.

I love how cooking brings people together, whether it's sharing recipes or sharing a special meal. My sister and I love to talk recipes, and she is great at researching any recipe questions and hunting down recipes. My whole family enjoys cooking, so holidays are particularly fun when we're all cooking together. I teach social studies, and I incorporate historical recipes and foods into my lessons about culture. Cooking connects the past and present. I've realized how relaxing cooking is to me, so despite being very busy with teaching, I make time to cook.
