Fat Free Italian Dressing

"I tweaked our favorite Italian Dressing recipe so it was healthier and more WW friendly. The original recipe (which is Recipe #20158) is fantastic, but it is 2 points plus per Tablespoon. This version is 1 point plus for the WHOLE recipe! We use it on salads, Italian subs, pasta, chicken and even as a dip for bread. You can use red or white wine vinegar. I actually prefer the taste of the red, but it looks more like Italian dressing if you use the white."

  • Let stand for at least 2 hours to blend flavors. Shake well before using. Store at room temperature.

Questions & Replies

  1. Where can I buy the salad dressing carafe in the picture? I'm going to try the recipe, too, but when I do I want to keep my dressing in that nice carafe.

  2. Can this be stored in the refrigerator? What is the shelf life if stored at room temperature?

Reviews

  1. I don't know how this recipe doesn't have any reviews. It's magic! Tastes just like full fat dressing. I've been using it as a sauce on tons of things....veggies, sandwiches, in recipes, on salads (mixed 50/50 with my usual dressings to cut cals)... I joined this site just to give this recipe some love!

With the changes to the email notifications and removal of private messaging, I am no longer able to respond to questions about my recipes. Yet another feature change that has made the website less user friendly. It's sad to watch a fantastic site deteriorate over the years. Some of my recipes are on my blog.
