Fat Free, Low Cal Biscuits!

"Let me start off by saying HALLELUJAH!! My parents are BIG biscuit eaters, and dinner every night is a battle for me to turn down the biscuits. I adapted this recipe from a traditional "mayo" biscuit, and it is yummy! They come out very fluffy and are not cursed with the nasty baking powder flavor that most healthy biscuits have. I hope to soon experiment with oat flour in this recipe!! This is by far one of my favorite healthified recipes!"

  1. Thank you SOOOOO much! I LOVE biscuits but, now that I'm dieting, I can't eat the full-flavor ones for a number of reasons. This recipe was perfect. Tasted like Bisquick drop biscuits. I used light mayo and 2% mill because that's what I had on hand but boy did they hit the spot! Thanks again for biscuits I can enjoy guitlessly.

  2. These were pretty good for low cal biscuits. I followed it exactly and made 6 medium size biscuits. All gone so I'd say they were good.

  3. These were so easy to make and no one knew they were low-fat. I will definitely keep this recipe handy, these win hand-over-fist over canned biscuits! Thanks for posting a keeper! Made for Fall 2009 PAC,

  4. These are the best fat free biscuits I've ever made! I added a 1/4 tsp of Cream of Tartar powder like I do to all my biscuits, but that was the only tweak. Thank you for the easy, yummy recipe!

  5. Absolutely love this recipe!! My fat free phobic husband ate 3 of them without realizing they were “diet food”. Made just as the recipe instructs, the biscuits are delicious and only 2 smartpoints! Will be very light brown and fluffy. Great recipe.
