  1. Made these for me and the hubby! It was hands down, in my opinion, the best steak I have ever put in my mouth! I followed the recipe to T, and I am so glad I did! My husband has never met a steak he didn't smear steak sauce all over, but I told him just to try it first before adding sauce. Needless to say, he didnt even crack the bottle of A1 open! I cannot wait to have this again! Thanks so much for posting such a simple yet wonderful recipe!

  2. Man, is this delicious. I couldn't figure out why in the world you'd need all that butter for one little steak. Maybe I should not drink and read?? I've never had bacon wrapped around a filet before, nor put butter on top. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got an EXTREMELY tender filet, that didn't need my usual steak sauce, and a just incredibly delicious dinner tonite. Thanks, House, for my new weekly indulgence.

  3. Made these for my anniversary, very good! Only added some chopped chipotle in adobo to the butter, but followed the rest of the recipe as written. The steaks came out awesome. Thanks so much for the recipe as it was my first venture into cooking steak.
