Flank Steak Marinade

"This is a recipe that I found on the Radiant Recovery website. A great sugar free marinade for Flank Steak. The original recipe called for 1 tablespoon of dried mustard - I cut it down to 1 teaspoon and also left out the black pepper (I'm allergic to it) and the salt because of the salt content of the tamari sauce. Cooking time is marinating time."

  1. This was DELICOUS. I used apple cider vinegar and marinated it for 4 hours before cooking. My 10 YOD who tends to not eat much meat, asked for seconds and came back before bed looking for more. A true sign of a good recipe in my home.

  2. This is so good! I made as is even use the rice wine. I marinated it over night and then grilled it. This will be added to our favorites book and made often! Made for 123 Hits.

  3. The only way to cook flank steak is with a good marinade.. This is really good and tastes similar to mine

  4. Wonderful marinade for any cut of steak!!! I did use it on a 3/4 lb flank steak. DH was out of town and I was cooking indoors and out on the grill, so it did get a little more done that I like but certainly didn't effect the wonderful flavor. Served it with Recipe #356677 and they really complemented each other with the flavors just bursting in your mouth!! Thanks for sharing LA!! Made for your win in the Games Summer Spectacular!!

  5. FABULOUS marinade! My family loved the flavors in the beef after marinading it for 4 hours. I used individual Chuck Eye steaks instead of a flank steak but it all worked so well!! The steaks were tender and full of flavor. The only adjustment was I used 2 cloves of garlic (really by mistake but once it was in it was in :) ). I'll be using this recipe quite often during the BBQ season for sure!! Thanks LA for sharing this with us. Tagged thru the Newest Zaar Star game.
