"A newtuffed Flank Steak with fennel root, green pepper and pimento, and slivers of capicola Italian sausage. It has a nice zip. I just made it up from what was in the fridge and the pantry today. Well worth keeping these ingredients stocked."

  • Pound the steak to tenderize and make it twice the size.
  • Dice all the rest of the veggies and combine with the slivered sausage, the bread crumbs, and the seasonings. Spread over the steak, roll it up and fasten it with a few skewers. Place seam side down on baking sheet, season with a bit more salt, and fresh ground pepper . Place in oven at 350 degrees.
