Flo's Shrimp Newburg

- 1 1⁄2 cups ripe olives
- 3 lbs cooked shrimp
- 1 cup butter
- 3⁄4 cup cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1⁄2 cup sherry wine
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons paprika
directions
- Rough chop olives.
- Melt butter in dutch oven. Add shrimp, stir to gently coat with butter.
- Add seasonings, milk, half & half, cornstarch stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
- Add olives and sherry, stir and serve immediately.
- Serve over biscuits or toast points.
