directions

  • Combine dry ingredients and whisk together.
  • Melt butter, beat eggs and add to dry mixture with milk, then butter.
  • Whisk together and pour batter on hot waffle iron.
  • Once the waffle is done, use a large glass or round cookie cutter to cut circles out of the waffle quarters.
  • Arrange the waffle circles across the top of the plate and fill each hole with blue berries, minced strawberries and dried cranberries.
  • Slice the yellow banana diagnolly to make long flower petals, enough to surround each waffle flower.
  • Use the green banana peel to make stems and leaves.
  • Slice the green strawberry stems off and reserve. Next cut each wide strawberry in half from top to bottom to leave the widest part available for a tulip like flower. Using a sharp knife cut petals into the top of the strawberry and cut the reserved strawberry stem in half to make the flower bottom. Use more green banana peels to make stems and leaves.
  • Serve with syrup or topping of choice.
