  1. Cream Butter in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer.
  2. Add shortening and cream together.
  3. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, milk or water.
  4. Mix on low for one minute.
  5. Scrape the sides of your bowl with a plastic spatula.
  6. Mix on high till light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
