- 1 (42 1/2 g) envelope Dream Whip
- 1 1⁄2 cups cold milk
- 1 (106 g) package jello instant pudding mix, any flavour
directions
- Combine all ingredients in a deep narrow bottom mixing bowl.
- Beat slowly with electric mixer until blended, then beat at high speed until frosting forms soft peaks (4-6 minutes).
- Spread on cake.

This is an excellent frosting recipe. I used my Kitchenaid mixer bowl; started at Stir to combine ingredients, and then beat at High speed #6 for about 4 to 6 minutes. This frosting freezes well too. You can make your cake ahead and freeze it. Thaw cake in refrigerator and keep leftovers in refrigerator too. A lemon pudding mix is great for a vanilla or lemon cake; sprinkle top of frosting with grated lemon rind.
