  1. Make the pie crust: With an electric mixer set on medium speed, beat the sugar and butter until creamy.
  2. Add the eggs and mix well.
  3. Add the flour and mix by hand until the dough starts to form a ball.
  4. Continue to stir until it is fairly firm.
  5. Form the dough into a ball and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  7. Roll the dough out and fit it into a 9-inch pie pan.
  8. Place a piece of parchment paper on top of the dough.
  9. Weigh it down with dried beans or pie weights.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden.
  11. Remove the beans and parchment paper and allow the pie shell to cool to room temperature.
  12. Make the filling: Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a large bowl.
  13. In a heavy saucepan, bring the cream to a boil.
  14. When it is boiling, pour it over the chocolate.
  15. Stir and mix very gently until the chocolate and cream are well-blended.
  16. Pour the chocolate ganache into the pie shell.
  17. Refrigerate for at least two hours, or until the filling is set.
  18. Decorate with the fresh berries and serve chilled.
