Fragrant Orange Curry

"From: "The Vegetarian Epicure" by Anna Thomas, first edition 1972. This book was a real find! It says, "This is a fascinating way to start a dinner, or even to end it." and "This is a very aromatic, potent liquid.""

  1. I juiced the oranges in my Jack Lalanne juicer. Love the spices. I didn't double them, but like mliss29, I wouldn't mind more of them. I've never had anything like this before, kind of like a mulled orange juice. Thanks, Engrossed! Made for NA*ME tag.

  2. I liked this and I will try it again. It seemed a lot like hot orange juice with just a hint of ginger, so next time I will try doubling the spices. Made for Aussie/NZ Recipe Swap #14.

I'm not as active here anymore, but you can find me playing at the new recipezazz.com. I'm not a great photographer, but I love to take food photos with Freddy Cat to bring a smile to people's day. I love to cook and share good food with other people. I have a very large collection of cookbooks. I used to enjoy being able to look up recipes on Zaar by ingredients I had on hand. I miss the Zaar tag game community. Everyone was so nice, and it was super fun. Ah, the good ol' days.
