Franks and Beans

"My adaptation of this classic. I add a few things for taste. You can use any kind of baked beans and hot dogs you like; in my house, I only use Heinz Vegetarian Beans and Hebrew National 97% Fat-Free Hot Dogs."

  1. I gave this recipe 3 stars. My family really enjoyed it. I liked the idea of it and how easy it was. I did make minor changes to the recipe. I used canola oil for the olive. I used 1 whole small onion. I used a 28oz can brown sugar & bacon baked beans (considered trying vegetarin beans). I did triple the brown sugar to taste (we like them sweet). I did use Splenda brown sugar. I used 10 regular hot dogs. Overall this is a great recipe the horseradish did it to me it was way to strong smelling for me, but we will have this tweaked! Thanks for posting a good recipe! Christine (internetnut)

I also earned a Masters in Public Health degree in 2013. After a Walt Disney World trip in Dec 2006 where I had to rent an electric scooter because I couldn't manage the walking, I decided to have gastric bypass surgery, which was done Feb 28, 2007. I lost 160 lbs (though I've gained back about 60 of that since). I can't eat as much as I used to, so I want every bite to be extra good!
