French Toast

  • In a mixing bowl whisk half and half, eggs, honey, salt, french vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Lay bread into the mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes, if not fully covered flip it and let it sit another 5 minutes.
  • Melt a little butter in a pan and cook each slice until golden crispy on each side.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings. (I perfer a light sprinkling of powdered sugar and some high grade maple syrup.).

  1. Great! I loved the addition of the honey. We used a cinnamon swirl bread, so omitted the additional cinnamon in the recipe.

I substituted Blue Agave nectar for the honey strictly due to my own personal taste and it was wonderful!! My 6 yr old gave it her seal of approval as well--and she's a very picky eater. Thanks again!!
