French Toast

  • Whisk egg, milk, vanilla, powdered sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Slice bread about half an inch thick if it is not already cut.
  • Dip both sides of the bread in batter and place onto a hot, lightly buttered griddle set at 350 degrees.
  • Flip when bread is "toasted" and cook on other side.
  • Remove from griddle and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • Serve with maple syrup.
