Fresh Dates With Brie

"Not quite sure this is a recipe.....but it sure is a wonderful way to enjoy your dates and Brie Cheese! We can get the most wonderful fresh dates from nearby markets and I usually add them to my cheeseboard. you can really use most soft cheeses with your dates....Brie is just my fave. You can prepare some as a snack and as optional extras...drizzle them with honey and add in some crushed walnuts or pecans with the cheese"

  1. These couldn't be any easier to make, I'm sure! I used medjool dates! Another time I'd like to add a toasted pecan or almond to the mix, but as is, they really are OUTSTANDING & something easily added to my finger food buffet! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Make My Recipe tag]

  2. I had some dried dates that I didn't know what to do with them. So I was very happy to find this recipe. However, I must say that this recipe isn't for everyone. My family didn't appreciate the texture of the dates. (Maybe it's because they were not fresh dates.) But I enjoyed them, a lot! :)

  4. This has been a holiday tradition for generations in my family. However we do not use Brie to fill the dates, we use peanut butter and roll them in powder sugar.
