  1. You are so right! This has to be the best fresh fruit ice-cream I've ever had as well. Really makes you say, "mmmmmmmm". I halved this recipe and made the ice-cream using Nestle cream(beaten), homemade sweetened condensed milk(refer recipe number #14062 by Darlene Summers), fresh strawberries(pureed) and vanilla essence. It was really beautiful, both in appearance and in taste. It was quite easy to make as well which is another winning point to it. It's a great ice-cream to enjoy in the summertime. Thank You for sharing it. I'll be making it alot this coming summer :)

  2. This is good! I found the consistency fine, smooth and not grainy. I did try an experiment, and was a little concerned with the outcome. It was mainly a success. I cooked apples in cinnamon, pureed them and added 1 cup of the puree to the ice cream mixture before freezing. I wanted to taste the apple, so reduced the vanilla to 2 teaspoons. I think now that omitting the vanilla completely would bring out the apple cinnamon flavor more. I'll try that next time. I think then I'll have the perfect ice cream for this season. Thank you very much for sharing this recipe with us. Oh, I also mixed up the mixture in a bowl, as my ice cream machine is not convenient for mixing.

  3. I was very disapointed with the taste and consistancy. It tasted like frozen milk, not ice cream
