  • Snap end off the beans.
  • Add beans to boiling water.
  • Cook ONLY 5 minutes.
  • Drain and run under cold water.
  • In a skillet, melt butter and saute beans for 3 minutes.
  • Add cheese, pepper and garlic salt and toss.
  • Serve immediately.

  2. Loved these but did change up the cooking method. I also used thin frozen green beans. I cooked them in the microwave for seven minutes then I sauted then in the butter and followed the rest of the recipe. I did use garlic powder instead of garlic salt as I don't buy garlic salt. We all really enjoyed these.
     
  3. Okay, these did NOT tast cooked enough. I think 5 minutes didnt do enough. I will make again and cook longer to see the result!
     
  4. A lovely side, delicious! loved the combination of parmesan, garlic salt and pepper. I didn't have a lot of green beans so I added some thinly sliced carrots to the mix, worked out very nicely and instead of boiling first I steamed the veggies before sauteeing them. Thanks for posting , I will make these again and often!
