  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine peaches,1 cup sugar and water in 2 qt saucepan and mix well.
  • Bring to boil reduce heat and simmer for 10 minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Put butter in 13 x 9 x 2 inches baking dish and place in oven to melt.
  • Mix remaining 1 cup sugar,flour and milk slowly to prevent lumping.
  • Pour over butter.

  • DO NOT STIR!

  • Spoon fruit on top.
  • Gently pour syrup over fruit.
  • Batter will rise to top during baking.
  • Bake 30 - 45 minute.
