  1. This recipe is certainly easy to make and with prep that is not time consuming, which we really appreciated. I made this for Father's Day. DH and I thought it was average, but the rest of my family really liked it. So, thanks!

  2. This came out very well. I've never made nor had any kind of fruit crumble so I have no basis of comparison, but on its own this was a great dessert. I served it with homemade whipped cream and my boyfriend and roommate both loved it.

  3. This was good, but my filling had an off color to it once cooked that was not very appetizing. I think the 2 TB of flour was too much and could be cut down to 1 TB.

  4. Delicious!!! What a great summer dessert! I was a little nervous about the crumble because it was still really moist when I put it on - but it cooked wonderfully and was YUMMY! This is such an easy recipe - the most difficult part is washing and cutting the strawberries! :)

  5. I had pounds of fresh strawberrys i had to get rid of before they went bad so I tried this recipe and it was amazing. Everyone that tried it loved it. I use the topping for any fruit crumble I make, it is that good.

I am a newlywed living in beautiful Virginia with my husband and 3 doggies. I'm a little on the hyper side and I am happiest playing hostess and cooking for a crowd! My kitchen is my domain and I find cooking to be very therapeutic. On a day off you might find me brewing a fresh pot of iced tea and hanging out in the kitchen either cleaning and organizing or tinkering with recipes! I rarely follow favorite recipes to a "T", preferring instead to allow my creative side to take over. I especially love the holidays because it gives me even more of an excuse to bake! In the summertime I love visiting my mom and stepdad in the VA Beach area. I love the ocean and I love to go shopping with my mom!
