  1. I could not wait to make this recipe after supper was over. I made the very quick and simple batter in a few minutes. After frying the twinkies and allowing them to cool (which was difficult to wait that long). The first bite was pure heaven, it was like your birthday and Christmas all in one day! Its very rich in taste with a crispy outside and a cool, creamy inside. I didn't have to modify the recipe in any way, but I would add a touch of cinnamon or powered sugar after frying. Highly recommended for the sweet tooth and if your not worried about fat intake!!

  2. Ok.. My kids have been begging to make these for years. I personally think they sound gross.. (I don't eat many sweets) Well, I had my deep fryer going, they asked again. I gave in. Both kids loved these. Both also ate 2. My kid don't care for twinkies. But both were convinced they'd love em, this way. They did. LOL I won't make these often. But thanks for sharing the recipe. :)

  3. Wow. I could totally feel my arteries screaming in anguish as I ate these, but they were totally worth it. Kudos.

  4. I think the concept of deep fried twinkies is an awsome idea. I wanted to say I enjoyed deep fried oreos. I tried them at a fair called the Big E in Springfield, Massachusetts. Especially with a great big glass of cold milk!
