  1. So easy, so yummy! Made this for a Saturday movie night with DH. :) I made the "diet" version - using light sour cream and low fat cheese. I have used the ranch packets in other recipes, and know how salty they can be - since I don't like a lot of salt I only used 1/2 of the packet which was perfect - gave it the ranch-y flavor without too much sodium. This is a recipe I would proudly serve company and will! :) Thank you so much for sharing it.

  2. This was a nice, easy dip. I made as written except I had some precooked bacon I just cooked in the microwave and crumbled up instead of the bacon bits. This would be great with veggies or crackers too. Thanks for posting. Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders Tag.

  3. This was very tasty. Made the recipe as written. Great for the ball game. Itr was real great with dorities. Will make again. Thanks for posting.

  4. This is very tasty dip. Thought it was a bit salty, it must have come from the ranch dip. I cut the recipe in half and it worked great. Easy to whip together. Thanks for posting.

  5. This ia a good dip. It is easy to make. I followed the recipe as written. I used hormel bacon bits as they are my favorite. We used veggies to dip, not fritos. I would add a bit more bacon next time.

I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Ohio in 1978. It was quite a culture shock going from the city to living next to the Amish. I spend most of my time cooking, cleaning and caring for my four kids. I have abandoned cookbooks and now cook from favorite, wilted recipe pages and the internet. I fell in love with my Italian family recipes (Scavo, Rotella, Scalzo, Micelli, Grande, Gigliotti) and my Mom's homecooked meals.
