Frosty Coffee Almond Pie

  • 18 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 1 quart coffee ice cream, slightly softened
  • 12 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 cup hot fudge, warmed

Directions

  1. Mix crushed cookies and butter until well blended.
  2. Press on bottom and up side of ungreased pie plate.
  3. Freeze about 15 minutes or until firm.
  4. Carefully spread ice cream evenly in crust.
  5. Sprinkle with almonds.
  6. Freeze about 3 hours or until firm.
  7. Remove pie from freezer about 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with hot fudge sauce.
  9. Store in freezer.
