Frozen Juice Punch

"This is a punch to use when you need something at the last minute. It is wonderful served this way, or you can make it up ahead and freeze and serve later. If you like slushes, freeze it in an distilled water jug and shake it often as it thaws. Once it reaches the slush stage, just pour and enjoy."

  1. This is going to be a favourite for the coming summer. We have had a real hot spell and I invited neighbours to try this as a slushy, everyone wanted a copy of the recipe. Very refreshing, well done.

  2. Wonderful! Served this at a baby shower and everyone really enjoyed it. I did add about 1/2 cup of sugar to sweeten it up a bit. This was a nice change from the usual fruit punchy punches. Thanks Jellyqueen!

  3. I just realized when I came to review this that I LEFT OUT THE WATER! LOL. It was still great. My only problem was I could not find any 6-oz cans of the frozen items, only 12-oz. So, I basically doubled the recipe (exept for the water), and served it at a baby shower, with an ice ring of ginger ale & sliced fruit. This punch was light & flavorful, and not overly sweet. Really good. I had some left, so I've frozen it and plan to mix with some vodka sometime ;) Thanks!

  4. I made this today for a baptism party...just mixed the juices and water in the punch bowl and put it in the freezer during the service (about an hour), then added the ginger ale to the slush when it was time for the reception. It was a big hit, just the right balance of tart and sweet...I even caught someone tipping the bowl upside down to get the very last drop! And it was sooo easy...thanks so much!
