“After I returned from Europe, I couldn't find a muesli recipe that was exactly what I had experienced there. After a little trial and error, I came up with this recipe which is close enough. I can make the basic mixture on Saturday. It's a good, healthy mixture that is quick to fix in the morning. I work full time and am not a morning person.”

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the oats and almonds and spread them on a cookie sheet.
  3. Spray with butter spray and toss gently.
  4. Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Then turn off oven and let the oats and almonds remain in oven for 30 minutes.
  5. When completely cool, mix in the diced fruit.
  6. Store in an airtight container.
  7. To serve, place desired amount of muesli in a cereal bowl and mix with yogurt and honey. If a thinner mixture is desired, mix with a little milk.
