  1. Soak skewers in basin of cold water.
  2. Cut apple, remove core, and chop into 16 pieces.
  3. Rub cut surfaces of apple with halved lemon.
  4. Slice each banana into 8 pieces.
  5. Cut 4 strawberries in half.
  6. Cut each slice of pineapple in 8.
  7. Starting with the apple, slide alternating pieces of fruit onto the skewer.
  8. Leave one entire strawberry to be placed at the end, last of all.
