Fruit Syrup

- 3 cups fruit, fresh, frozen
- 1⁄2 cup sugar, granulated
- 1⁄2 cup corn syrup, light
- 1⁄3 cup water
directions
- In a heavy saucepan, combine all. Bring to a simmer over a medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 30-45 minutes until fruit is soft and collapses and liquid has the consistancy of syrup, stirring occasionally.
- Options: Strain out fruit and add a few spoon of syrup into seltzer water or club soda for homemade soft drinks.
- If using blueberries- add 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
- if using apples- add 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon sugar.
- Can be stored up to one week.
