Directions

  1. In a heavy saucepan melt butter.
  2. Add cocoa and stir until dissolved. Add hot water and stir again.
  3. With a wire whisk, blend in sugar, flour, salt, vanilla and milk. Stir until smooth.
  4. Mix in pecans and pour into pie shell.
  5. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted 1" from edge comes out clean.
  6. Cool. Serve with whipped cream.
