¹⁄₂ cup butter (1 stick)
2 ounces unsweetened cocoa (hershey's)
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs (beaten)
¹⁄₂ teaspoon vanilla extract
¹⁄₃ cup flour
¹⁄₈ teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

directions

Melt butter and cocoa together in medium sized pan over low heat. stir together and remove from heat. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs (mix eggs in little at a time, quickly stirring so you don't end up with chocolate scrambled eggs). Mix well then stir in flour and salt. Spread batter into 8 inch square buttered pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until set, about 25 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
