- 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine
- 3⁄4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- cooking spray

FUDGY ICING
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1⁄4 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups icing sugar, sifted
- 1⁄4 cup milk
directions
- Blend together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
- Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Remove from heat.
- Stir in cocoa. Beat in brown sugar, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and walnuts.
- Spray a 9-inch square pan. Spread batter in pan. Bake in a 350F oven for 40 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely. Spread Fudgy Icing.
- FUDGY ICING: Melt butter over low heat in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa and vanilla. Stir in icing sugar and milk until smooth and of spreading consistency.
- TIP: You should always be sure to store your eggs in the body of the refrigerator and not in the door to ensure they are kept at a consistently cooler temperature. Eggs should also be kept in the carton as they absorb the smell and flavor of the other foods around them.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
