- 1 medium onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 cups white rice (day old is best)
- 2 cups black beans
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 2 -3 tablespoons lizano salsa
- fresh cilantro
- green onion
- salt and black pepper (to taste)
- olive oil
directions
- Sautee vegetables in oil.
- Add spices and beans.
- Stir.
- Add rice.
- Mix it all up on the stove.
