  1. In a large pot, heat the oil over medium- high heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  2. Turn the heat up to high and add the ground chicken. Break it up into small pieces and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add the tomatoes, beans, spices and brown sugar. Add salt, to taste.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the cilantro. Serve immediately.
