Garlic Lover's Steak Sandwiches

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb beef roast, such as london broil
  • 2 heads garlic, peeled and slightly smashed
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
  • sausage roll
  • cheese, of your choice (and other toppings)

Directions

  1. Partially freeze roast and slice thinly.
  2. Scatter one head of garlic cloves in crockpot.
  3. Place roast slices on top of garlic.
  4. Cover with sliced onions and the second head of garlic.
  5. Pour beef broth into crock pot.
  6. Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.
  7. Strain beef, garlic and onions, reserving broth.
  8. Put beef, garlic and onions on sausage rolls.
  9. Top with your favorite cheeses and toppings.
  10. Serve with reserved broth for dipping, if desired.
