Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse.
  2. In a heavy skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  3. Add scallions and garlic.
  4. Stir and cook without browning the garlic.
  5. Cook until the garlic smell is fragrant and filling the room (about 5 minutes).
  6. Add brown sugar and soy sauce and cook for another minute.
  7. Increase the heat a bit and throw in the noodles.
  8. Quickly saute the noodles until they are all coated with the garlicky butter mixture.
  9. Serve immediately.
  10. Garnish with additional scallions if desired.
