Garlic shrimp

"I picked this receipe up from the T-Tapp exercise forum. I haven't made the recipe yet but want it in my recipezaar cookbook so I'm adding it now. One way to serve this is over spaghetti squash."

  • Heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and sautee for1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp (which is peeled and deveined).
  • Sautee for 3minutes.
  • Add the lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper and cook for an additional minute.

  1. This was great! Had everything I want in a recipe. Easy, elegant and easy. I added an 8 oz. package of whole sugar snap peas. I sauted them for about a minute and then added the shrimp. I also used 4 Tablespoons of olive oil and lemon juice. We like a lot of sauce on pasta. I used the same measurements for the rest of the ingredients. This would be great for company. You could have everything measured and in just 5 minutes have it ready for the table.
     
  2. SOOOOOOOOOOOO YUMMY! We like this over angel hair pasta with shredded mozzarella cheese sprinkled on top and garlic cheese bread on the side :-) Update: DH recently started WW and figuring this recipe as written @ 2 servings it is only 6 pts, not including whatever you serve it with.
