Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (20 ounce) box German chocolate cake mix
  • 23 cup evaporated milk (Pet brand preferred)
  • 34 cup oleo, melted
  • 1 (14 ounce) package caramel candies
  • 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup Pet milk, oleo and chopped nuts.
  3. Press half into a 9 X 13 inch ungreased pan.
  4. Bake for 6 minutes using temperature on cake box.
  5. Mix and melt caramels with 1/3 cup Pet milk;.
  6. Pour caramel mixture on cake and sprinkle chocolate chips over this.
  7. Crumble rest of cake mixture and bake for 20-25 minutes.
