¹⁄₂ cup butter
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
¹⁄₈ teaspoon salt

directions

Place the butter into a cake pan and place the pan in a 400 degree oven until the butter is melted, but not browning.
Remove pan from the oven.
Beat the eggs, milk, flour, and salt together. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Top with syrup or other toppings.

I knew nothing about german pancakes when I made this recipe. My husband said give it 5 stars!! I used a 9X13 pan to cook them in and cut them into 8 squares to serve. We topped ours with maple syrup. If you have not tried german pancakes you should. Very easy and very good.
