Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes (with lime juice and cilantro or any combination of canned tomatoes you like)
  • 1 lb ground sirloin
  • 1 (5 1/2 ounce) box taco shells (12 shells blue corn is our favorite!)
  • 1 -2 diced tomato (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Directions

  1. Brown the sirloin, adding in the chili powder and cumin while browning.
  2. Add the tomatoes and any extras you might want and heat through.
  3. Serve in taco shells (yum!), for a young tot who can't handle a taco shell, break it in half, lay it on the plate like a circle, and put topping on it like a pizza.
