  1. This is the recipe to use if you want to make gigantic longlasting bubbles. I've always added a bit of glycerin to our bubble solution, but the big bubbles would always pop. With this solution, we could even use our biggest fairy wands and wrap enormous bubble trails around us. Here's the best part...we got sidetracked playing in the sandbox for a while and when we returned to the bubble solution, it was even better! After an hour or two in the open, the bubbles we made were industrial strength, unpoppable creations. We could even stack them together and make bubble sculptures. Thank you for posting this!

  2. I made a bubble machine which I set up at kite festivals etc. I go through a bunch of bubble liquid. This is a lot better than factory made and is also cheaper by far.The plans for the bubble machine are at www:kitez.com/samples.html cursor down to Kite Plans then down to Bubble Machine. They aren't the clearest in the world but it's not rocket science, anything close will work.I have almost fun with it as the kids who chase the bubbles.

  3. Well, this bubble juice concoction was so easy to prepare and produced wonderful bubbles. My daughter had great fun using up these inexpensive bubbles and now we are keeping a bottle of this recipe prepared for her to make bubbles any time she likes. Thanks for sharing!

  4. This is our favorite Bubble recipe so far, we have tried others and had not as good results. It creates strong bubbles that last a while before popping, they won't collapse before you can appreciate the swirling colors. The trick is letting it "marinate" you have to be patient and let the mix sit for a couple days, even a week is good. It makes the ingredients bond better and you will have better results. If you mix it and plan to use it right away, you could be disappointed, most likely, because it pops right away like cheap store bought bubbles. Thank you for this recipe!! You guys are awesome ??

Tweaks

  1. Please add that this recipe works better if made at least a day or 2 before expecting to use it. I also found it worked better if kept in the refrigerator between uses as well.

  2. A better recipe for bubbles.

  3. Let it marinate. Leave it for a few days and then use it. Gets stronger with time.

Well, I've been happily married, happily divorced, and happily married once again. (Wanna see wedding pictures? I'm married to a brilliant man with the most yummy British accent (this is the part where he rolls his eyes and says, Yeah, yeah, yeah). Let's call him Sushiman, even though he hates that name. <a href=http://www.recipezaar.com/member/52282>Chia</a> gave him that nickname when I was trying to create a dinner to show off my culinary talents. I posted here on Zaar with questions about the menu and since sushi was the main focus of the meal, he became Sushiman. That dinner was just the first of what I hope will become a lifetime of meals together. <br /><br />This is a picture of us taken in September 2005 in Kew Gardens in London. Sushiman has 4 kids of his own, so together that makes us a family of ten, together with my dog and my step-dog (sadly, since I first wrote this my step-dog, Honey, crossed the Rainbow Bridge). We're the Brady Bunch on speed. Not all eight live with us, but everyone is in and out all of the time, so we're thinking about replacing our front door with one of those revolving thingies.</p> <p>If you need help figuring out the whole complicated mess, you can check out <a title=Miriyummy -- A Guide to the Perplexed href=http://miriyummy.wordpress.com/about/ target=_blank>Miriyummy, A Guide to the Perplexed</a>.</p> <p>Here are my four beauties -- from left to right: Adiya, Sara, Nomi and Tehila <br /><br /><a href=http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v240/mirj/?action=view?t=111.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/mirj/111.jpg border=0 alt=Photobucket /></a> <br /><br />On March 18, 2009, my oldest, Sara, got married to Ariel.
