  • Mix the shortening, eggs and pumpkin.
  • In a separate bowel combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Add to the pumpkin mixture and blend well.
  • Add the pecans and stir.
  • Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans and bake @ 325° for 1 hour.
