Directions

  1. In a saucepan just melt the butter; do not brown the butter.
  2. Add carrots, whole candy ginger, brown sugar and chicken broth.
  3. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
  4. Remove the ginger.
  5. Spoon the carrots out onto a warm serving dish.
  6. Reduce the sauce until thickened.
  7. Spoon sauce over the carrots.
