  • Place the ginger at the bottom of the teapot along with the tea. Bring the water to a boil and pour the water into the teapot. Let the tea steep for 3 to 5 minutes , depending on your taste. Pour 6 ounces of the tea into each of 2 cups. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar to each cup and garnish with small strips of lemon peel or fresh mint sprigs.
