ingredients

¹⁄₄ cup butter
¹⁄₂ cup sugar
¹⁄₂ cup molasses
¹⁄₃ cup water
3 ¹⁄₄ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ginger
¹⁄₂ teaspoon cinnamon
¹⁄₄ teaspoon clove
¹⁄₂ teaspoon salt

directions

Cream butter and sugar.
Add molasses and water.
Stir in all the remaining ingredients.
Roll on a lightly floured board.
Cut out 14 giant gingerbread men.
Bake 350° til lightly browned.
Sorry I can't remember how long that took as it was last christmas when I made these. Probably 15-18 minutes.
