  1. I mixed this with some sugar and sprinkled it on buttered toast--so much more interesting than plain cinnamon toast! I also used it as a dip for apples. Excellent recipe; thanks for posting1

  2. What a warm and most pleasant blend of spice. I used it this morning to make Recipe #491478. I put a 1/2 tsp of the spice mix in the coffee that I had with scones. I'm having pork chops this evening and there is an excellent chance that they will be Gingerbread Spice chops. :D

  3. My Mom's favorite comfort food was warm gingerbread made from a boxed mix & I always felt the same way. I have never seen a boxed mix here in Iceland & am not sure why I never thought of making my own. When I saw your spice blend & scone recipe, I hoped the combo would satisfy my craving for gingerbread & your recipes did not fail. me. I will be searching for other ways to use this blend & esp like the 2 already mentioned by Bonnie G #2 in her review. Thx for sharing this recipe with us.

  4. Made this a used in pancakes this morning. Added a wonderful flavor that did remind me of fresh hot gingerbread. It so differant I can see using it in many ways, maybe in bannana nut bread, or rice pudding - YUM. So glad I tried it, I'll be keeping this on my spice shelf from now on. Made for Every Day's a Holiday
