  3. Clear five stars!! I made two major changes - first, made it gluten free by using a gluten free bread mix for plain white bread, second, made it without Abm. Also I used rice milk for the milk and had to add a little water because the gluten free flour required more liquid. After rising 40 minutes, it baked 50 minutes at 400 degrees. The bread has a very nice crisp crust and is moist and chewy on the inside, is only a little sweet and has a wonderful gingerbread flavor. Not overpowering but just perfect for a toast. Will definitely make this again!! Thanks for sharing, Mike. Made for POOL PARTY TAG GAME.

Tweaks

  1. Used coconut oil instead of butter. Cut out cinnamon, used 1t of ginger and nutmeg. Added 1T of brewed coffee.
