  • In a small pot, heat oatmeal, skim milk, and water over medium heat. As oatmeal mixture is warming, add all the other ingredients. Stir thoroughly to combine. Let cook until most of the liquid is absorbed, and the oatmeal reaches … y’know … an oatmealy consistency. Serve warm.

  1. This was delicious! I just realized I forgot to add the vanilla, but it still tasted amazing. I was having it for a late night snack so I halved the oatmeal but kept the other ingredients the same, so it was a little strong, but I really enjoyed it and it was perfect for my sweet tooth

  2. This was pretty good. I used fancy molasses and the taste wasn't very strong, so next time I think I'll have to try blackstrap instead. Overall it was a great oatmeal idea. Thanks for sharing!

  3. This was pretty tasty. It really is reminicent of gingersnap cookies. Smooth, creamy, and just a little spicy. Very quick and easy to make on busy mornings. Thanks for the recipe, it was a nice change from my normal oatmeal. I don't think that I would have ever thought to use molasses in my oatmeal.
