  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Cream butter, margarine and sugar. Add eggs and blend.
  3. Add extracts and sift dry ingredients.
  4. Add Dry ingredients and blend well.
  5. Drop by teaspoons onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes. I use a very small ice cream scoop.
  6. Mix sifted confectioners sugar, anise and water in a small bowl.
  7. Dip warm cookies into glaze and then into colored sprinkles.
  8. Place on cooling rack, on a cookie sheet(in case of drips) to dry.
