  • Cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs, lemon juice and lemon rind.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt and stir into creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  • Pour into greased 8"x4" loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until done.
  • Combine glaze ingredients.
  • Remove bread from pan and immediately drizzle with glaze, then cool on a wire rack.
